he UN Global Compact Network Egypt has been launched in 2004 by the Mansour Group and the UN Development Programme. Ever Since, it has been working very hard to establish a strong Network that drives sustainable development amongst the Private Sector in Egypt.

The UNGC Ten Principles covered by the four Pillars of Human Rights, Labour, Environment and Anti-Corruption have been paving the ground for more development and responsible actions in the country for the past 15 years. The introduction of supporting online platforms that help companies take concrete actions to achieve the 17 Sustainable development Goals grounded on the 10 Principles of the UN Global Compact have been allowing to explore new market opportunities and drive innovation around the SDG`s.

As a result, the UN Global Compact Network Egypt has been witnessing increasing social responsible

commitment amongst businesses in the country. From Anti-Corruption policies, to measuring Carbon-Footprints over implementing environmental friendly technologies as well as increasing employee engagement in decision making processes and more. During this journey strong emphasis has been laid upon empowering women to take active leadership roles.

For the future we will continue working towards our vision of raising Awareness, building Commitment & Promoting Multi stakeholder Engagement for Business Globalisation, Sustainability Practices and Responsible Businesses.
We are capable of more than we know- Muhammad El-Fouly
