During the HLPF, the private sector has been invited on 17 July at the SDG Business Forum, a UN Global Compact’s side event, which provided a unique multi-stakeholder platform to support business action and partnerships to achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
Alongside the SDG Business Forum, a report entitled “Global Compact Local Networks: Accelerating National SDG Implementation” was released to showcase the efforts carried out by the Global Compact Local Networks, including the Egyptian Network, in support of the 2030 Agenda and the SDGs.
The report contains examples from more than 30 Local Networks around the world to demonstrate how they can help accelerate action and collaboration to close the gaps between where we currently are and where we need to be by 2030
